Dolby set to enter Mobile

You might have read Will’s article yesterday about SRS-WOW, the company that’s been in the Mobile game (amongst others) for some time now. Well they had better be prepared for the Juggernaut of Digital Audio Processing, Dolby, to enter the fray.
It’s been reported that at 3GSM (Mobile World Congress), Dolby is due to announce partnership with a handset vendor, something which should mean substantially better audio on those devices.
We can only guess as to who the lucky manufacturer might be, but any of the top 5 would be a reasonable guess…… so who would you bet on?

I’d say maybe Sony Ericsson, after all Sony has a leg in movie production, and they’re probably more experienced working with them.
